Car Detailer
Location: Houston, TX Zip 77373
Shift: Mon-Sat; 4:00 PM- 2:30 A.M
Pay: $18.75 hourly- Weekly pay
We are hiring Automotive Technicians / Vehicle Processing Technicians to support a major automotive distribution and vehicle processing center in Houston. This role involves working with brand-new vehicles, preparing them for delivery to dealerships by performing inspections, accessory installations, and quality checks.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with automotive, mechanical, or auto parts experience looking to grow their career in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
• Install accessories and components on new vehicles
• Perform vehicle inspections and quality checks
• Test vehicle features such as radios, AC, and electronics
• Use handheld devices or electronic systems to document work
• Identify and report defects or damage
• Follow safety and quality standards
• Work in a fast-paced automotive production environment
Experience
• Automotive repair or maintenance
• Lube technician roles
• Dealership service departments
• Auto parts stores
• Collision or body shops
• Mechanical assembly
Experience with tools, vehicle parts, or mechanical systems is highly preferred.
Requirements
• Driver License
• Mechanical aptitude or automotive experience preferred
• Comfortable using computers or electronic systems
• Reliable transportation
• Must pass background check and drug screening
