Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Taking orders:

  Accurately and efficiently take drink orders from guests, ensuring their needs are met.

• Serving beverages:

  Deliver drinks promptly and accurately, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.

• Making recommendations:

  Suggest popular cocktails or other beverages based on guest preferences and availability.

• Handling payments:

  Accurately process payments, including cash, credit cards, and other methods.

• Maintaining cleanliness:

  Keep the bar and surrounding area clean and organized.

• Ensuring guest satisfaction:

  Go above and beyond to ensure guests have a positive experience, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.

• Following guidelines:

  Adhere to all safety and health regulations, as well as dress code and serving standards.  

   

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills:   Excellent ability to interact with customers, build rapport, and resolve issues.
• Customer service experience:   Proven ability to provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of bar and menu:   Familiarity with basic cocktail recipes and menu items.
• Cash handling experience:   Comfortable handling cash, processing payments, and making change.
• Teamwork:   Ability to collaborate effectively with other staff members.
• Reliability and punctuality:   Must be reliable and punctual in attending to their duties and responsibilities.
