Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Superintendent to join our team and oversee project operations from start to finish. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities :

- Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects to ensure timely and successful completion. 
- Supervise the day-to-day activities on-site, including managing subcontractors and construction crews. 
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and enforce company safety policies. 
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned with objectives. 
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular progress and daily reports. 
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise on-site promptly and efficiently. 
- Manage project budgets and resources, ensuring cost-effectiveness, solving any issues or delays that may arise. 
- Maintain effective communication with all parties involved, fostering a cooperative and productive work environment. 
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure quality standards are met and maintained. 
- Oversee implementation of the project schedule and track milestones to ensure adherence to timelines.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a commercial Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry. 
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations. 
- Excellent leadership and communication skills. 
- Ability to analyze project specifications and interpret blueprints and plans. 
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure. 
- Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite. 
- A degree in construction management, or a related field is preferred but not required. 
- Certification in first aid, OSHA-10 and a valid driver’s license may be required.
