Job Description

Salary: $123,000 - 163,000 per year Requirements:

  • We require Epic certification or substantial practical experience with Epic Dorothy and/or Epic Comfort.
  • We need experience supporting Home Health and/or Hospice workflows within Epic.
  • We require strong Epic build expertise across clinical documentation tools, including Navigators, Flowsheets, SmartTools, and order functionality.
  • We need experience working with Epic Rover and/or Hyperdrive in mobile clinical settings.
  • We require familiarity with post-acute billing concepts and Epic Episode-Based Billing (EBB).
  • We need an understanding of regulatory and compliance expectations tied to Home Health and Hospice care.
  • We require experience delivering tiered application support and handling support tickets.
  • We need the ability to partner directly with clinical and operational users to gather needs and implement solutions.
  • Preferred: Additional Epic certifications, such as Epic Ambulatory, are a plus.
  • Preferred: Prior experience supporting post-acute care organizations or health systems is highly valued.
  • Preferred: Strong communication skills and the ability to translate clinical requirements into Epic configuration are desirable.
Responsibilities:
  • We configure, maintain, and support Epic Home Health and Hospice modules, including Epic Dorothy and Epic Comfort.
  • We build and support clinical documentation tools such as Navigators, Flowsheets, and SmartTools.
  • We configure order sets, order preferences, and Medication Administration Record behavior.
  • We support mobile clinical workflows, including Epic Hyperdrive and Rover iPad setups for field-based staff.
  • We design and refine Home Health and Hospice workflows to align with clinical and operational requirements.
  • We build and maintain Epic Episode-Based Billing to support post-acute billing models and payer reimbursement.
  • We ensure our Epic configuration meets Medicare, payer, and regulatory standards affecting Home Health and Hospice care.
  • We provide day-to-day application support, including incident troubleshooting, enhancement work, and end-user assistance.
  • We collaborate with clinicians, billing teams, compliance partners, and IT stakeholders to resolve issues and improve workflows.
  • We participate in upgrades, testing, validation, and go-live activities as needed.
