Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

The General Production Worker performs a variety of tasks, ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production activities, to assemble component parts into sub-assemblies and completed units by following standard operating procedures. This role may also include conducting quality inspections on the processing line to ensure all products meet established quality specifications.

Pay is $17.25 for entry level- No experience needed.

Pay is $18 for general production worker- experience in manufacturing required.

Must be able to work OVERNIGHT shift- Sunday-Wednesday 9pm-5am

Responsibilities

• Assemble component parts into sub-assemblies and finished units by following clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures.
• Perform both repetitive and non-repetitive production tasks within the assigned work area.
• Conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with established quality guidelines and specifications.
• Sort and move hospital supplies and equipment as part of the production and handling process.
• Apply basic production skills and techniques to complete routine tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere strictly to all quality guidelines, safety rules, and cleanroom protocols.
• Maintain required licenses, training, and certifications necessary for performing production tasks.
• Work under close supervision and submit work for review to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Seek supervisor approval before proceeding with any deviations from standard procedures.
• Support general production and general labor activities as needed, including multitasking across different production steps.

Essential Skills

• Ability to follow clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures and production instructions.
• Capability to perform general production and general labor tasks in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience or comfort working in a cleanroom or controlled production environment.
• Basic understanding of quality guidelines and ability to conduct routine quality checks.
• Ability to sort and move hospital supplies and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate assembly and inspection of products.
• Willingness to work under close supervision with all work reviewed for accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and manage routine assignments within the production area.
• Reliability in maintaining required licenses, training, and certifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in medical device production or handling is an advantage.
• Prior exposure to cleanroom operations or controlled manufacturing environments is beneficial.
• Comfort working with repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and quality standards.
• Ability to learn and apply basic scientific or technical methods used in production processes.

Work Environment

This role operates in a production facility that may include cleanroom areas and controlled environments, particularly related to medical device manufacturing and hospital supplies. Work is performed within clearly defined procedures and quality guidelines, under close supervision, with regular review of completed tasks for accuracy. The environment involves standing, moving, and handling components, supplies, and equipment on the processing line. Employees follow established safety practices and facility protocols, including appropriate cleanroom attire and adherence to hygiene and contamination control standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverview, FL.

The pay range for this position is $15.25 - $15.25/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Riverview,FL.
