A dynamic and successful entrepreneurial couple based in the Fort Lauderdale / Pompano Beach area is seeking a highly capable Household Assistant / Household Manager to support their busy home and lifestyle. With two teenage children (ages 14 and 16) and multiple active business ventures, the family is looking for a polished, proactive professional who can bring structure, organization, and ease to their day-to-day operations.

This is a high-level support role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and anticipates needs before they arise. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and confident managing both household logistics and occasional administrative support. Cooking is a major part of this role, and preparing meals, snacks, and keeping the fridge stocked will be one of the family’s top priorities.

Position Overview

This role combines hands-on household support with elevated household management responsibilities. While the family employs house cleaners, this position will focus on organization, coordination, and overall household flow, stepping in with hands-on tasks as needed. A strong comfort level in the kitchen is essential, as meal preparation and household food management will be a central component of the position.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day household operations and ensure everything runs smoothly

• Prepare meals and snacks for the family on a regular basis

• Keep the fridge and pantry stocked, organized, and replenished

• Handle grocery shopping and household errands

• Manage laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organization

• Coordinate and schedule vendors, services, and household staff

• Maintain organized, functional living spaces throughout the home

• Support family logistics, including scheduling and planning

• Assist teenage children with life organization, including college prep, travel planning, and packing

• Provide occasional administrative or business-related support as needed

• Anticipate needs and take a proactive, solutions-oriented approach

• Provide transportation support as needed, including driving the family’s son to evening practices in Deerfield Beach

Ideal Candidate

• 3+ years of household management or high-level household assistant experience

• Strong cooking skills with experience preparing fresh, family-friendly meals

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

• Proactive, intuitive, and able to work independently

• Professional, discreet, and adaptable

• Comfortable balancing hands-on tasks with coordination and planning

• Strong communication skills and a service-minded attitude

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Schedule & Compensation

• 25–30 hours per week

• $32–$38/hour DOE

Preferred Schedule Options:

• Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: approximately 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with flexibility to align with evening commitments

• Candidate should be comfortable supporting evening logistics, including driving to a 6:30 PM practice in Deerfield Beach on Tuesdays and Thursdays and ensuring dinner is prepared

Alternative Schedule Option:

• Monday through Thursday: approximately 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM, if additional hours are desired

Note: On days when transportation to practice is required, the schedule may shift slightly earlier to accommodate timing.
