As a Commercial Interior Designer at Herald Office Solutions in Charleston, SC, you will play a pivotal role in creating aesthetically pleasing and functional work environments for our diverse client base. Your primary responsibilities will encompass space planning, commercial furniture design, and collaboration with our clients to bring their visions to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Space Planning: Utilize your expertise in space planning to design layouts that maximize efficiency and functionality for commercial spaces. Consider factors such as traffic flow, lighting, and ergonomic design.
• Commercial Furniture Design: Develop creative and innovative furniture design concepts tailored to the specific needs and preferences of each client. This includes selecting and customizing furniture, fabrics, finishes, and accessories.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, objectives, and constraints. Maintain clear communication and provide design recommendations that align with their business goals.
• Utilize CET Configura: Preferred proficiency in CET Configura to create detailed furniture layouts and specifications.
• AutoCAD Proficiency: Utilize AutoCAD for drafting, creating design plans, and technical drawings. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in commercial interior design and office furniture to provide clients with cutting-edge solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for space planning, technical drawings, and design documentation.
• Preferred proficiency in CET Configura for furniture design.
• Strong knowledge of commercial furniture brands, products, and finishes.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
