Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Description: The firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its litigation team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in civil, commercial, and/or corporate litigation cases, trial work preferred. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with a passion for litigation and desire to grow within a renowned firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage complex civil litigation cases, including commercial disputes, and contract law.
Oversee all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and trial.
Provide strategic counsel to clients on litigation matters and potential risks.
Conduct depositions, hearings, trials, and mediations.
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure effective communication with clients throughout the litigation process.

Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school.
In good standing with the Ohio Bar Association.
Minimum of 2-4 years of litigation experience, with significant trial experience.
Book of business preferred but not required.
Ability to work under pressure and manage a large caseload efficiently.
Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

1st or 2nd chair trial experience preferred.
Proven ability to manage complex litigation cases from pre-trial through trial and appeal.
Strong collaborative and team-building skills.
