About Us:
We are a small, family-owned fishing boat manufacturer known for producing high-quality, durable vessels. We take pride in our craftsmanship and attention to detail, and we’re looking for an experienced Quality Control Inspector to help ensure every boat leaving our facility meets our standards.

Position Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for the final inspection of completed boats before delivery. This role ensures all vessels meet company quality standards, identifies and coordinates corrections of any issues, and represents the company during dealer pickups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough final inspections on completed boats coming off the production line
• Identify defects, inconsistencies, or quality issues and coordinate with production teams to have them corrected
• Verify all systems, components, and finishes meet company standards and specifications
• Work closely with production staff to ensure timely resolution of any issues
• Meet with dealers upon pickup and walk them through the completed boat
• Review features, answer questions, and ensure dealer satisfaction
• Complete final quality sign-off documentation prior to release
• Maintain inspection records and report recurring issues to management

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in quality control, preferably in boat manufacturing, marine, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of boat systems, construction, and components
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and production standards
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with dealers
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
