Job Description

Salary: $100,000 - 135,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution; an electric power concentration is preferred
• 1 to 4 years of relevant engineering or field experience
• FE certification; PE licensure is an advantage but not mandatory
• Hands-on proficiency with power system modeling tools, including PowerFactory or ETAP for steady-state analysis, ETAP or EasyPower for protection and arc flash studies, PSSe or PSLF for interconnection and dynamic modeling, and PSCAD for transient studies
• Familiarity with grounding and cable ampacity software such as CDEGS, WinIGS, or Cymcap is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Solid interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States

• We conduct electrical power system modeling and analysis for renewable energy facilities, including solar, wind, battery storage, and substation design projects
• We prepare high-quality studies and reports covering short circuit, reactive power and load flow, arc flash, dynamic, transient, harmonic, interconnection compliance, ampacity, grounding, and related calculations
• We support client communication and coordination for assigned work while maintaining strong, responsive relationships
• We apply relevant codes and standards consistently in our engineering work
• We uphold high ethical and professional standards in all activities
• We participate in conferences, training workshops, seminars, and relevant academic coursework to support professional growth and quality output
• We follow safety procedures and complete required safety training
• We may occasionally assist with equipment, control systems, communications troubleshooting, relay field testing, start-up, and commissioning support
• We may also contribute to detailed electrical power system design, including one-line and three-line diagrams, control and relaying schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA, conduit and cable sizing and routing, grounding design, equipment specifications, cost estimates, and project scheduling
