Home Inspector (Training Provided) Pillar To Post Home Inspectors® Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy figuring out how things work? Many successful inspectors come from backgrounds such as construction, maintenance, trades, property management, military, or emergency services, but we will train the right candidate. Pay: Based on experience and qualifications. What You'll Do * Inspect residential homes and evaluate major systems including roofing, structure, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC * Use inspection software to create clear reports for homebuyers, sellers and realtors * Explain findings to clients and real estate professionals in a professional, easy-to-understand way * Represent Pillar To Post with excellent customer service The Ideal Candidate * Mechanically inclined and detail oriented * Comfortable communicating with homeowners and real estate professionals * Self-motivated and able to work independently * Professional, dependable, and organized * Comfortable using computers and technology Job Requirements * Valid driver’s license * Ability to climb ladders, walk roofs, and access attics and crawl spaces * Ability to work in varying weather conditions * Ability to pass background and driving checks * Some evening or weekend availability
