We're a family owned and operated grounds maintenance company currently seeking a Full-Time Sales Account Manager. We offer complete landscaping, fertilizing, tree care, and snow removal services for commercial properties and fertilizing, tree care, and pest control for residents. Your job would entail sales and customer service; selling residential services to current and new customers, making outbound calls on referral and marketing leads, and providing customer service to any incoming calls, which are predominantly residential customers. And to be clear, this is an in-person position in our office of about 5-10 people.

This position includes hourly pay plus commission on anything you sell, after 90 days: health, dental, vision benefits with single and family options, as well as 401k.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business; everyone can be an entrepreneur.
• Process incoming calls regarding various services, payments, and customer account maintenance.
• Place outbound and follow-up calls to current customers and new prospects to sell additional services and fertilizing programs, respectively.
• Obtain and enter accurate data while speaking with potential leads or customers.
• Identify customer needs and effectively communicate value of services that are specific to the customer, maximizing revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Promote products and/or services based on the time of year.
• Closes sales to achieve objectives utilizing consultative sales.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• General lawncare knowledge is preferred, but we can teach you.
• Proper phone/email etiquette, and communications skills.
• Practiced sales and up-selling techniques (e.g. overcoming objections, closing sales, suggestive selling).
• Computer data entry skills, some Word and Excel experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to build customer relationships and provide customer service.
• General knowledge of Real Green Systems Lawn Pest Assist program is a huge plus

Education and Experience Requirements

• Sales, customer service, telemarketing, and or call center experience preferred.
