Job Description
In this full-time position, the qualified candidate will:

Provide consulting services for implementation of design and user experience across a variety of platforms/devices.
Work closely with Business Analysts, Designers, and Developers to define interface and user requirements.
Work on project teams with project tasks that are applicable to your specified discipline.
Develop web and/or application functionality per specifications.
Layout interfaces between the Front and Back-End systems and work closely with the development team.
Create front-end code for client websites, related web applications, and mobile solutions using the latest HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
Observe best methods and industry standards for SEO, user experience, visual design, cross-browser functionality, performance, scalability, availability, portability, and security.
Maintain consistency of HTML and CSS across websites and applications per established style guides.
Contribute to estimates for project tasks that may be required within your specified discipline.
Deliver technical and process documentation.
Provide mentoring and direction for other Consultants within the specified discipline.
Ability to work independently within in specific discipline.
Ability to present and work directly with our customers in a customer-facing capacity.
Be viewed as a Thought Leader amongst your peers for your specific discipline.
Provide best practices and process improvement initiatives.
Provide input and help define new solution offerings within their specific discipline.

Qualifications
Qualified candidates will demonstrate technical and functional knowledge of designing and developing for e-commerce platforms such as HCL Commerce, Hybris, Magento, and BigCommerce. Additional qualifications include, but are not limited to:
At least 5-7 years experience within specific discipline.
Proficient with web standards (W3C).
Extensive experience with Responsive Web Design (RWD) and implementation.
Knowledge of user-centered design best practices and trends across web and mobile platforms, as well as knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
Advanced-level knowledge and experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (JS).
Proficient with a variety of modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks used for web application and mobile development. Examples include: Angular, React, Node.
Knowledgeable in client-side performance optimization techniques.
Experience with developing on content management platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla.
Experience with unit, system, and integration testing.
Understanding of ADA compliance for website and application development.
Effective organizational and time management skills, along with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in support of client-facing consulting.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
