Forklift Operator (Transporter) – Warehouse / Food Manufacturing

Niles, IL | $22.00/hr | Full-Time | 3rd Shift

Nexus Employment Solutions Plus, Inc. is hiring Forklift Operators (Transporters)for a food manufacturing facility in Niles, IL. This is a great opportunity for dependable, safety-focused individuals with forklift experience who are looking for steady, full-time employment with weekly pay and a supportive work environment.

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Shift: 3rd Shift

What You'll Do:

• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials throughout the warehouse and production areas
• Pick and prepare orders for shipment while ensuring accuracy
• Perform receiving, put-away, and inventory transactions using RF scanners and warehouse systems
• Conduct cycle counts, validate inventory, and maintain accurate inventory records
• Support production by supplying materials and moving pallets as needed
• Inspect forklifts daily and perform basic equipment checks
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and report any product damage
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following food safety, GMP, OSHA, and company safety standards
• Complete additional warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous forklift experience required
• Warehouse or food manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform physical warehouse duties
• Willingness to work weekends and mandatory overtime when needed
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team
