Growing manufacturer is seeking a Human Resources Manager to work with their collaborative team and report to the General Manager. As the Human Resources Manager, you will oversee two direct reports. Daily you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Qualified candidates will be able to take ownership of and prioritize projects, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be self-motivated, organized, collaborative and flexible with work requirements. Qualified candidates will enjoy spending time on the manufacturing floor, building rapport with the site team members. REQUIREMENTS for the HR Manager:
1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, ideally in a relatable field
2. At least five years of experience working in a lead manufacturing HR position
3. Experience overseeing others
4. Experience with unionized workforce
5. Strong HR compliance
6. Background in recruitment
7. Strong employee relations experience
8. HRIS experience
9. Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
Skills preferred but NOT required:
1. HR certifications
2. ERP experience
