In high-stakes domains like medicine, AI can be confidently wrong, and only a practicing clinician can catch where a generated note misses a detail, blurs a diagnosis, or introduces risk. Your judgment is the signal these tools are built on. You will be recognized as a collaborator on the product, with work that respects your time and your training.

AI is increasingly used to draft clinical documentation, summarize encounters, and support clinical workflows. For these systems to be safe and genuinely useful at the point of care, they need feedback from the people who actually practice. As a Physician Consultant you sit between the model and the patient, evaluating real outputs against the standards you hold yourself to every day, and telling the product team precisely what is right, what is wrong, and what could become a clinical risk.

What You’ll Do

• Participate in testing of AI tools within simulated or real clinical workflows.
• Review and evaluate generated clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and relevance.
• Provide structured, actionable feedback on performance, usability, and clinical value.
• Identify errors, gaps, and potential clinical risks in model outputs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product refinement.

• Surgical Oncology

Who This Is For

• MD, Fellow, NP, or PA with relevant clinical experience.
• Active clinical practice.
• Strong understanding of clinical documentation standards and workflows.
• Experience with EHR systems such as Epic; familiarity with ambient AI tools is a plus.
• A genuine interest in healthcare technology and the motivation to make these tools better.
• Able to provide clear, detailed written feedback.

The Engagement

• Format: Flexible, project-based, and asynchronous. Roughly 10 to 15 hours per week, on your own schedule.
• Location: Fully remote, open to clinicians licensed and practicing in the United States.
• What you bring: A computer, a microphone, and access to your usual EHR and ambient AI tools.
• Compensation: Commensurate with your clinical expertise and confirmed during screening. This is work worthy of your time.
