This is a full-time position that works Monday – Friday 8:30am -5:30pm ideally, with flexibility to open and close the center. The pay is $15 -17 per hour with merit increases depending on experience and qualifications.  This role is located at our center: 1118 W Oak Ridge Rd, Orlando, FL 32809

The  Preschool Teacher develops a cohesive teaching team, coordinates the curriculum, and manages the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. The Teacher in this role should be high energy and able to work well with staff, students, and parents. You’ll have the opportunity to be a leader in the classroom, champion a team environment, and provide fun-filled learning opportunities while making a positive impact on the lives of children aged 3 years old.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by creating classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
• Lead by example and encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate exercises to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
• Ensure all Center policies and state regulations are met
• Represent Oak Ridge Children’s Academy with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail.

What We Need from You:

• High school Diploma and/or degree in Early childhood education or related field of study required
• FL DCF 45 hours Required
• National CDA Highly Preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of professional early childhood teaching experience
• Must clear a full level II DCF background check
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus (Spanish/English preferred)
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
