Retail Store Sales. 2 temporary, full-time positions. 06/08/2026 to

09/30/2026. The Christmas Vacation Shop located at 150 Main Street, Bar Harbor, ME 04609. Email: christmasvacationshopgifts@gmail.com. Perform customer service such as assist customers with information, operate cash register, take payments, provide change, stock inventory, price items, personalize and package orders, keep store organized, upload social media and website posts, assist with supply and inventory orders, create cash register report, and assist with opening and closing the store. Welcome customers, assist customers with finding products, personalize ornaments with a marker for names, dates, and/or messages per customer request, and wrap ornaments at checkout; Process sales using a point-of-sale system such as a cash register or a Square processing system for credit card sales. Keep track of inventory, stock inventory back on the shelves, hang ornaments, and price inventory using a pricing gun. Report to the manager what items are selling so that they can submit supply and inventory orders to vendors and suppliers. Take photos of new products and inventory and post on social media pages and business websites. Open the store by unlocking the doors, turning on the lights, wiping shelves, vacuuming, and removing trash as needed. Close the store by locking the doors at the end of the business day. 40 hours per week. 8-hour workday, Mon-Fri. Multiple shifts available: 9am to 5pm, or 1pm to 9pm. OT hours possible. High School/GED required. 6 months experience required. Travel will not be required. Wage: \$19.26/hr; OT Wage: \$28.89/hr. Workers paid biweekly. Housing Assistance: We assist workers in finding housing, but workers pay for their housing directly. On the job training provided. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the companys sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill and tenure. Single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the workers paycheck required by law will be made. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence provided at a rate of at least \$16.28/day during travel to a maximum of \$68/day with receipts/documentation of actual expenses. H2B Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job, and guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12 week period of total employment period.
