What You'll Do

  • Oversee the operations of the truck scales; daily use as well as certifications, maintenance, and repairs, this includes the radiation detectors and cameras.
  • Manage Industrial Truck Scale inbound and outbound operations to meet demands of the facility
  • Diagnose problems with the scales and assist in their repair
  • Monitor and arrange calibration of scales
  • Monitors Radiation Detection equipment
  • Perform radiation detection system checks according to environmental department requirements
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, inside the scale house and around the scales
  • Troubleshoot work-related problems using job knowledge, experience, and communication with others
  • Effectively communicate with others about possible production issues, concerns, and needs
  • Work safely to prevent on the job injuries by always following safety rules and regulations including proper wearing of company PPE
  • Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture

What You'll Need

  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with excellent strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs
  • Some overtime will be required
  • Must be willing to work weekends and nights as required based on production needs
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Your Education

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
