We are National Search Group, Inc located in Miami, Florida (USA). We are also looking to expand our remote teams in VIETNAM, INDIA, South Africa, Latin America, and the Philippines.

Senior Team Lead Talent Acquisition

This is a full-time position following EST business hours, Monday through Friday, with a half-day shift ending at 1:00 PM on Fridays.

About the role

As our Senior Team Leader, you will be the central point of leadership for a team of recruiters and sourcing specialists. You are responsible for guiding the team to meet and exceed recruitment targets while upholding National Search Group's high standards for quality and efficiency. You must lead by example, fostering a motivating environment, inspiring continuous improvement, and ensuring our recruitment processes deliver high-quality hires and a positive candidate experience.

To be successful in this position, you must possess verbal excellence and linguistic clarity, specifically an exceptional command of Standard American English and a clear, neutral accent. This level of communication is essential for ensuring high-clarity engagement and professional rapport with our US-based candidates and stakeholders. Furthermore, the ideal candidate demonstrates strong cultural alignment and market insight, allowing them to navigate the nuances of the North American professional landscape effectively.

Beyond communication, you must be a leader who models reliability and accountability, overseeing team attendance and serving as an active, hands-on resource. You will demonstrate your expertise by performing tasks alongside your team, from sourcing to initial screening, ensuring no task is viewed as being below your pay grade. Your ability to navigate the US recruitment market effectively while managing and coaching your team will be key to maintaining the high standards of excellence at National Search Group Inc.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a group of recruiters and sourcing specialists when required, providing direction and support to help them achieve company goals.
  • Manage team attendance and be a consistent, reliable presence, setting the standard for the team.
  • Implement robust performance management strategies to monitor, evaluate, and improve team member performance.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to refine job descriptions, requisition processes, and compensation strategies.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline.
  • Actively participate in the recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates to serve as an example for the team.
  • Provide continuous development for the team through training, mentoring, and constructive performance feedback.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and accountability, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment leadership, with a proven track record of successfully leading a team.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Reliability: A high level of reliability and a willingness to be a visible, consistent leader for the team, demonstrating a "no task is too small" attitude.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of performance management, proficiency with recruitment software, and excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills. You must be fluent in English.
  • Attributes: You must be goal-oriented, detail-focused, and driven to meet and exceed targets.

Important Details

  • Work Hours: You must be available during USA business hours (Eastern Standard Time): Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m., and Fridays, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. EST.
  • Salary: The base pay for this role will depend on the successful candidate's experience and caliber. The estimated range is USD 600 to USD 1100 per month, with annual bonuses and commission pay.
  • Equipment: You must have your own Deskptop/Laptop, Minimum system requirements: 4.0 GHz dual-core processor, 16 GB RAM, and the latest version of MS Office installed (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ideally Windows 10-11, OS. A fast internet connection with power backup, a noise-canceling headset, and a noise-free work environment.
