Job Description

As a Crew Leader, you will lead a team of dedicated tree planters, ensuring that trees and other vegetation are planted correctly and efficiently. This position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, make a tangible impact on the environment, and develop leadership skills in a supportive and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of tree planters in the planting of trees and other vegetation.
• Ensure proper planting techniques are followed to guarantee the health and growth of trees.
• Train and supervise team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Implement and enforce all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with managers and supervisors to coordinate planting activities and report progress.
• Do general nursery work as required.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of tree planting techniques and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team.
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects as required by the job.
• Insurable Driver License
