Private Individual in Gladwyne, PA Seeking a Part-Time Housekeeper/Cook

Position: Part-Time Live-Out Housekeeper/Cook
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Salary: $40–$45 per hour, depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP

A private individual in Gladwyne is seeking a warm, dependable, and proactive Housekeeper/Cook to assist with maintaining her home and preparing simple, healthy meals for breakfast and dinner.

Home Size: 3-bedroom home
Pets: None

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and overall organization of the home
• Perform detailed housekeeping, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, and kitchen cleaning
• Handle all household laundry, including washing, folding, ironing, and putting items away
• Change and launder bed linens
• Prepare simple, nutritious breakfasts and dinners
• Encourage healthy eating habits by introducing new foods and recipes
• Prepare meals such as eggs, sandwiches, egg salad, tuna salad, soups, salads, spinach dishes, beans, and other vegetarian-friendly options
• Grocery shop and keep the kitchen stocked and organized
• Monitor household supplies and communicate replenishment needs

Requirements

• Prior experience working in a private household
• Strong housekeeping and laundry skills, including ironing
• Experience preparing healthy, home-cooked meals
• Excellent professional references
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
